Green Trash Can was searching the web for good recycling ideas and checked out the article at the Daily Green ‘One-of -a kind Made from Recycled Materials.’and as they say ‘Radical use at its coolest”
One that took my eye was the Spoon Ring. Linda Taylor uses vintage and antique flatware to create elegant, whimsical jewelry that can be dressed up or down. Checking it out further at Etsy.com there were handcrafted Spoon and Fork Jewelry Bracelets, Rings and Pendants.
Then I thought about Grandma’s silver spoons that I inherited and just sit in the drawer. How cool would it be to have Grandma’s spoons made into nice pieces of jewelry. Not sure if Etsy.com do special pieces, but someone might. Definitely a great recycling idea.
Just heard Code Name Max has ordered some pieces online….will eagerly wait for result.
