Carro Makes Handbags and Backpacks from Reclaimed Men’s Suits | Argentinean Designs Recycle Thrift Store Clothes for Unique Purses

Thanks to bagbunch.com for there awesome article on Carro When we saw quirky Korean designer Eco Party Mearry release its recycled suit tote earlier this year, I thought it was an anomaly. But after discovering the purses from Argentinean fashion house Carro, I’m beginning to sense a trend. Just like Eco Party Mearry, Carro makes unusual accessories from reclaimed men’s suits. The difference here though, is that we have a whole range of purses to choose from.

Carro’s fun collection features backpacks, messengers, and satchels all made from thrift store clothing finds. Designers Silvina Cannito and Guillermina Balsells work hard to preserve the integrity of the original materials, which helps to give their accessories a unique, vintage charm.

Carro bags are available at several stores in Buenos Aires, Atomic Garden in Oakland, California, and the label’s online store.
