Ride to Work Day on Wednesday 14 October 2009 is entering its third year nationally and aiming for a participation of 141,000 workers across Australia.

Ride to Work is a behaviour change program that encourages workers to feel good and have fun by commuting to work by bike and experiencing the health, financial and environmental benefits. Make your ride count  http://www.bv.com.au/ride-to-work/

Ride to Work Day promotes riding to and from work as part of Bicycle Victoria’s charter to get `more people cycling more often’. Ride to Work Day is a ‘call to action’ in a year-round commuter cycling campaign.

The event is designed to be an opportunity for recreational and occasional bike riders to trial a different mode of transport to work. Regular riders are targeted as organisers and are encouraged to help new riders to ‘give it a go.’

Experience the fun of riding to work and enjoy the many health, financial and environmental benefits, why not give it a go! If you are already riding to work, encourage others.
